Sports Collectors Daily is seeking a reporter to freelance stories from the upcoming National Sports Collectors Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center. Dates are Aug. 4-8.

I'm looking for perhaps 5-10 shorter feature-type stories for a website within the industry. Minimum of about 400-600 words...longer if you can. Will offer a little more for extra effort.

This is a paying gig...but probably looking at around $20-25 per piece. It's not necessary to go to the show every day. If you can handle gathering interviews in 1-2 days, that's OK. I'd prefer you turn at least one story Wednesday evening through Saturday evening with the balance coming within 2-3 days after that.

Media pass will be provided. Prefer someone with a knowledge of the hobby/industry. Show floor will offer plenty of opportunities for stories and you'll also be provided with some ideas.
