Barbaro = load of crap

All this Barbaro stuff annoys me. They are only trying to keep this horse alive cause they think they can make millions of dollars off of him impregnating many more horses. There is not a little girl that loves him. He didn't save anyone's life. It is purely about money.

 

And some columnists use it to pretend that they're sensitive, animal lovers who always are at the tracks.

 

Actually, from what I understand there is virtually no chance he will ever stand at stud.

Why does it bother you that they're trying like hell to save his life?

Isn't it possible they can get him through this so he can live comfortably? Seems to me it's worth trying.

Euthanizing him is kind of, uh, permanent.

 

Doesn't seem like he's living very comfortably right now.

 

Not that I disagree, but I feel this won't end well.

 

They are only doing it because they see $$$$ attached to the horse. Let's say the same thing happened to a horse that had no monetary value but their little girl (if they had a little girl) loved dearly. They wouldn't try all this to save that horse. It's all about $$$.
