    Borderline. Everybody confuses what he could have been (physical tools better than Mantle's), and his one big superballyhooed media-overkill moment, and somehow comes to believe he played like that all the time.

    He never hit .300, never hit 30 home runs, never drove in 100 (and scored 100 only once). He's one of the best players in the Hall Of Pretty Good.
