What's an album cover? Those funny little pictures you see in iTunes?

I'm getting a broken link on your post, but this is a tough one.

Yes - 'Close to the Edge'
    Grateful Dead - 'Aoxomoxoa'
    Jethro Tull - 'Passion Play'
    BOC- 'Cultus Erectus'

Those just leap to mind for me.

It has to be this. You ask if it could be more black and the answer is none. None more black.

1st album I every got was kind of cool with the topography of the gears raised on the cover:

Led Zep III was fun with the turning circle changing the pictures. A great example for how marijuana was coming of age in popular society:

Always liked ELP's Brain Salad Surgery which started here:

    and opened to this:

I'm sure there others I'm forgetting, but these were the first three that came to mind.

In the camp category, this is one of the classics:

Everyone includes 'Sticky Fingers' on the list, but I always thought 'Some Girls' was an under-rated Stones album cover.
    Also, very under-rated album content.

I prefer Wish You Were Here, in which the guy on the right was a stunt man who was actually set on fire:

'Dark Side' is the most iconic, but I always found 'Animals' and 'Atom Heart Mother' to both have strangely compelling covers.
'Atom Heart Mother,' in particular, is very hard to pin down when considering why I like that cover.

"How much more black could this be?" "This is something you wear around your arm. You don't put this on your fucking turntable."
