Big Brother 8 running thread

So, there are eight votes. We know Dani, Dick and Zach are hoping to evict Eric. The question really is whether they lure Jen. They've been trying to smooth things over with her. Jen, though, is going to do what's best for Jen. If you can figure out what that is, then you'll probably be able to predict who gets eliminated.

 

It's probably in Jen's best interests to keep Kail, right? Kail is an automatic fixture on the block, and keeps Jen from being the only person everyone wants out.

Damn, I hope Eric stays. This is the vote that decides the course of the season.

 

There's only 7 votes: Jam, Dick, Jess, Zach, Dustin, Ambore, Jen. Dani, Eric and Kail can't vote. Well, Dani would vote to break tie, but that's not going to happen. I hope Eric has Dustin, Jess, Jam and Ambore on his side. Supposedly, Ambore swore on her daughter's life that she would vote to keep Eric. We'll see.

 

Oh, that's right. Dani can't vote. Well, that pretty much seals it. There's no way Kail can survive now. Dustin, Amber and Jameka are surely voting for her to leave. And there's no way that Dick is going to pull both Jessica and Jen over to his side. He'd be lucky to pull one.

I predict that they're going to edit it to look like Jen and Jessica have been persuaded to vote out Eric when in fact they haven't. That same scenario plays out a lot on Survivor. You have to have a compelling reason to get someone to follow you. In this case, I can't imagine what that reason would be.

Jessica and Jen are in great spots. They're aligned with Jameka, who can't even compete in HOH competitions for five weeks. The power players' squad is quickly dwindling. What more could they ask for?

 

I hope Kail goes.

 

I hope it's Kail leaving, but I have a feeling Amber may switch... Jen, Dick, Zach and Amber = America's player going home...

For anyone that remembers "The Nerd Herd" in Season 6, we have their legacies here in Season 8: Dustin, Eric, Amber, Jessica and Jameka. The "Good Group" who lies through their teeth and backstabs, but claims the moral high ground at every turn.

 

Who are these D-list schmoes cheering on Dick? Dilana from Super Nova Rockstar? Shit ...
