New discovery for me, read to add salt which takes out bitterness and it seems to work. Anyone doing/tried this?

    I denounce this.
    2 ingredients required for coffee.
    Coffee grounds and Water.
    That's it.
    That's all.

Just like whiskey poured over ice.
    Rubbish.

Just like General Ed Fenech says in Inglourious Basterds.

"Whiskey. Straight. No junk in it."

Once you've gone black, you ain't ever coming back.

Seriously, if you buy good coffee (whole bean, local roaster, probably 12-16 bucks a bag) then drink it black. You can actually taste quality of the coffee.

    Watch this...

    Alton pretty much covers everything.

Not only do I insist on four packets of sweetener, but I just bought 12 boxes of these babies for my coffee.

My life changed the first time I was introduced to a French Press. A little sugar and that's it.

French press is too much for me on a regular basis now they I actually need to be somewhere in the mornings, but I also just bought a fill-your-owm K cup and it's close enough.

I've settled on K-cup dark roast with International Delight creamers (not French Vanilla or anything sugar free - Oreo & peanut butter cup are best). I want to taste the bitter and the sweet at the same time, not have them cancel each other out.

My wife and a friend had a continual quest of "finding the best way to make coffee." They settled on a French Press. Then we were gifted a Keurig. Didn't really want one, but, well, it was a gift. We're using Tully's Hawaiian Roast and it is the bomb. About 40 cents a cup. Costco sells it, a box of 100 for $44, but reduces it to $37 on occasion.

Cups are cute, but I drink a mug.

Well, I have a large thermal cup. Takes two pods, so I'm splurging 80 cents for my morning coffee.

I drink a mug that’s four cups. I use 1/2 cup of grounds to make it.

Pro tip - if you buy one of those metal yeti-rip-off mugs from Wal Mart for 10 bucks, your coffee will stay piping hot for about an hour.

    I probably pay about $1.50 a mug.
