So the pool I'm in that I was getting crushed in has a "second chance" sub-pool just for the NY6 and other games played after Jan. 1 - I'm tied with eight others for first in that one and I have Michigan and 48 total pts - the only other player in the tie has Michigan at 71. I like my chances. Could be worth a couple of hundred bucks. :)

My Hoosiers finally playing in the Rose Bowl next year. OK, it's in September against UCLA. I'm still calling it the "Rose Bowl."

Lee Corso was the coach at Indiana in 1981, and he had a home game against mighty USC early in the season. When reporters questioned why he would schedule the Trojans in a non-conference instead of, say, a lesser MAC school, he said, "because when I got hired, I promised them I'd have a Rose Bowl team here."

Glad it’s an SEC-free title game.

    Michigan has the defense.

If it’s a night kickoff, does life even have meaning?
