Who wrote the best game story?

    Who wrote the best column?

How did your paper play the game story?

Did your paper staff the game? Does it usually? Does it staff it depending on the participants or location?

What was it like being there?

The final score of the game was not in the Miami Herald.

And now the reality of this thread: Are you talking about the website or the print edition, @Mr. X?

    Print edition.

(Kicking myself for not including those all-important two words.)

How many of their older readers, which likely make up the majority of their print subscribers, would know what a QR Code is or how to use it?

Damn. Just wave the white flag.

I don’t know if I could have written a great column, but I thought of a great lede last night.

“This was so lopsided, even the mascot mailed it in.”

I think that the conclusion that we can draw from this thread is that print editions have become irrelevant. Deadlines are now so early there were virtually no print stories in the next day paper anywhere in the country

I want to argue against that.

What I've read is that with the possible exceptions of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post every daily newspaper in the United States generates more revenue from their print editions than online. Is that true?
