Ah, it’s good to see Auburn and Missouri paying homage to the Jefferson Pilot “Game of the Week” slot.

Yes, I’ll have a lukewarm Milwaukee’s Best and cold pizza to start the morning.

I think this is the first time I remember SEC Shorts actually leaning into a thick Southern accent.

No third Saturday reference in the title? How far the mighty have fallen.

If it hadn’t been Tejas, it would have been an Army/Navy combo reference.

    But since you asked nicely!

Poor guy had to move to New Jersey just to find a state where he could pursue his career in pumping gas.

I think this is the week Miami pays its penance to the refereeing gods.

Alabama-Tennessee is a game where two top 10 teams with 5-1 records could easily be coming into Saturday on two-game losing streaks if not for some terrible decision-making by their opponents a week ago.

Call this the Escape Clause game.

It is possible that they were attempting to make the point that the SEC home offices are in Birmingham. Or is that "Buhmminhayam"?

I like the new cast member, Lauren Cantrell. Hope they use her more.

And although college football fans disagree on a lot, I think 99.8% would agree that Vandy pimp guy is the star of the season, no matter what happens the rest of the way.

That's a character they'll be bringing back for years.

I'll take Purdue to cover, but even with a hangover and travelling on a short week I don't think Oregon will muck it up. Nebraska over Indy? GTech over ND? And Texas gets exposed this week.
