Experienced sports copy editor sought...as seen on journalismjobs.com.

The gig is at the Delaware County Daily Times

We have an immediate opening for a talented, highly motivated copy editor/paginator in the sports department of the Delaware County Daily Times. Applicants should have one to three years of experience on the desk of a daily newspaper as well as an excellent command of grammar and AP style and strong news judgment. Ability to work well on tight deadlines is a must, and knowledge of Adobe InDesign and InCopy is preferred.

The Delco Times is the newspaper of record for diverse, densely populated Delaware County just outside of Philadelphia. The sports department covers all five major professional teams in Philadelphia as well as the Big 5 and a full slate of local colleges and high schools. We offer a competitive salary and benefits and an opportunity to work with talented reporters and editors in an award-winning sports department.

Send a resume, work samples and cover letter to rparent@delcotimes.com
