Corriendo beisbol estring numero seis (because 46 pages on No. 5 was enough ...)

Rich Harden is starting again? I thought the A's were going to use him out of the bullpen.

Scott Brosius just announced the Yankees lineup on Fox and I have a question for Scott: Who is Miguel Cabrera and when did he start playing centerfield for the Yankees?

Also, who are the announcers on Fox today? The color commentator is annoying me already.

Could be worse. In the Midwest I've got Mark Grace -- who I like, usually -- telling me about the small-ball Twins who don't make mistakes and win games by not beating themselves.

Appreciate the comment, Gracie, but did you turn on the TV last night?

To answer my own question, it is Joe Girardi. I guess I should have recognized his voice, so far I am not impressed. But it is still better than listening to McCarver and Buck.

He's forking awful. So condescending and smarmy he makes Boomer Esiason sound modest.

I've never seen it squeeze through the the pores like it does with Girardi.

I hope he gets a job with a big-market team and wins 150 games in two seasons.

Nick Punto ain't hitting his weight, but he sure does get after it with the glove.

Redmond looks fine despite the seven stitches in his dome.

Hold on to the forking bat, today, will you, Jim?

Good pitching matchup in the Bronx.
Clemens: 7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 80 PC
Lackey: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 8 K, 82 PC

Damn, Howie Kendrick is going to be good. He has made three great plays, going to his right and left to save hits.

Mark Buehrle is the only thing the White Sox have going for them. It stands to reason that he's on his way out of town.

Strange outing by King Felix today. He goes 8 dominant innings, but only strikes out two. Gets the win, though.

For Buehrle's sake, I hope they do trade him.
