According to a note in the Sun-Times, Pugh may already have a gig lined up:</a>

The only thing I could see Patrick doing with some success is teaming up with Olbermann for a three hour show on the radio to talk sports and other things. He's like a Harvey Korman or a Stan Laurel. He needs somebody to play off of.

With Washington Post Radio reportedly on the way out, could Kornheiser -- who has been doing a show on that station -- shift back to ESPN?</a>

I hope so, but I'm skeptical.

He'd just go back to his old outlet in Washington (WTOP?). He'd get linked back up with Andy Polley (ANDY POLLEY!) and all would be right in world.

Too bad Drew Carey got The Price is Right gig. After hearing Patrick try to talk Jose Canseco out of writing his book, I think he'd be a perfect fit for a game show.

I'm not sure where the guy got his facts but even before it was published it's been made pretty clear that his imagination may have been a key source. Likewise this guy has the biggest hard on in the history of hard ons for the Post, and more exact, Kornheiser.

That's not to say Post Radio has been a success. For the most part it hasn't been, at all.

And there is a grievance involving The Guild and pay for reporters' appearances on WPR now.

His old gig would be WTEM.

Also, as of right now, Kornheiser still has another year left on his contract with WPR for after MNF is over.

    WTEM! [/hittingforeheadwithpalmofhand]

Not if WPR goes tits up. I don't care where he ends up, just that he shows up somewhere on satellite radio or someplace I can find his broadcast with the Google button.

This may have been discussed earlier in the thread; I'm too lazy to look.

Has ESPN quietly decided that Patrick isn't going to do his show at all anymore? I mean, I haven't heard from him since the announcement. Somebody's subbing for him every day.

They still play commercials with Patrick.
