    Witness on CNN says 2 bodies draped on ground in front of grocery store. Also reports Congresswoman shot in head at point blank range. NPR confirms Congresswoman Giffords was shot in head.

    Really, really bad reports flying around the Internet. Hopefully just rumors.

    This could get really, really, really ugly for this country.

    EDIT: I just saw that TigerVols had already edited with the updates I mentioned.

    Let's wait and see, but "shot in the head at point-blank range" certainly implies targeting.

    This, tragically, is inevitably what happens when political aspirations are considered more important than basic compassion for fellow human beings. R.I.P. to all victims.

    I understand the idea of "innocent before guilty," but prepare the hanging gallows for the shooter.
