Not to be confused with Project X, also starring Mr. Broderick, which was laughable in its fictional prediction of manpower needs in any hypothetical ground war with Iraq. The movie's projected super-intelligent chimp totals, however, were uncanny.

Why believe 3-year-old war simulations when they've got their own trumped-up intelligence on WMDs and a sec of def who couldn't find his ass with a GPS.

Just in case anyone needs the basic facts, here ya go:

Our military has done an absolutely astounding job in this war. To hold shit together to the degree that they have for this long is simply amazing.

And for that effort, 3,000 of them have been killed and thousands more wounded.

The president who sent all those soldiers to their deaths did so for no other reason other than it made him look better to voters. He never gave them a chance from the start, has refused to listen to scores of military personnel who all but got on their hands and knees and begged him to send more troops or change the strategy (whatever it was) and has joked about the lies he told that allowed him to send those soldiers there to start with.

That was on HDnet Movies last night. I hadn't seen it in years . . . it looks like Ally Sheedy might've already started down the Coke Highway by then.
