Do I rat on this guy?

    Double J,

You don't rat out a friend. Dead-weight, bossy office slackers are more than fair game, though.

DJ, take care of yourself, 'cause no one else is going to.

Double J, you just learned the two most important things in life:

Never rat on your friends, and always keep your mouth shut.

There is nothing worse than someone who tries to run the show who shouldn't be.

Do the deed Double J. Don't let this dickhead get away with being a fuckstick.

    JJ ...

He's not your friend and if he's making your work life hell, I'd lay pretty good odds he's doing the same for your coworkers.

    Drop him like third-period French.

Be sure to ask yourself: "What's the worst thing that will happen to me if I rat him out?"

If you can safely say that you wont get fired, demoted or have a black mark on your permanent record, then pin his head to the wall...

If I was going to engage in inter-office subterfuge, I probably wouldn't broadcast it on a web site.

Think about it from the karma perspective as well. If what this fink does causes unrest, problems or more work for others (or even hurts their career, and their life), you're complicit in this simply by having knowledge but doing nothing. You don't want that on your soul or your karma.

Uhh yeah there is...the person who supposedly is in charge who lets it happen.

If you're lucky, JJ, maybe you can get him shipped off to the Kincardine News where he can cover the Saturday evening pipers'  parade.

Dude, this is so weird ...

I work with a guy who I think is trying to throw me under the bus. My boss is a lame sack of shit, see, and the people I work with are lightweights. Nothing would get done if I didn't step in -- they're lucky to have me around, I guess. Everyone's so frozen by ineptitude that I dole out the work and make sure the section gets out every day. God knows what they do when I'm on vacation.

Turns out the asshole that I assigned the high school football preview tab wants to make up some lame story so I get fired. Or if I keep my job, I'll have to do the damn thing myself. What should I do?

    ;)
