Award winning newspaper group in North Atlanta area is starting a new communty weekly and immediately needs someone who can do it all as a one-person sports staff. Reporting, editing, photography and page design are all part of the job description, with prep and rec league sports the highest priorities. Is that really the name of a town?

 

and forsyth county is one of the fastest growing in georgia. and not cheap

 

And more to the point, already has a newspaper.

 

The paper in Cumming, GA, (not sure if it's a daily) is also owned by Swartz-Morris Media.

 

No one should be willing to do it all for 20-25k, but sadly, someone will.

 

You gotta do, what you gotta do. That doesn't mean that you have to stay there.
Besides, it will be interesting to see just how much money the company will spend before abandoning ship.

 

Someone name me a newspaper (or newspaper group) that is NOT "award winning." Gees, get a certificate from the Chamber of Commerce for some fluffery and you are "award winning."

 

how's the housing market there? do you have to blow your load just to rent?

 

Isn't Cumming's mascot the Trojans?

 

Wish it was that easy but all the high school are named after the county of Forsyth (North, South, Central).

 

It's not far from Alpharetta, also known as "Breathing Hard." 8)
