Feds say they disrupted suicide bomb plot by worker at Wichita airport

    This story seems to have slipped under the radar due to the school shooting in Colorado.

    The good news for some folks here is that the suspect is a white male.

    The bad news? Well, let's look at his motive:

    That's interesting. Even if the explosives were duds, why would the FBI let him get as far as the airport gate? Why not nab him somewhere else, particularly if he was looking to go out in a blaze of gunfire?

    (I'm not suggesting they did it this way for more publicity. I'm just wondering if he momentarily wandered out of their surveillance.)
