Big fan of Portillo's. Not the top-of-the-line Italian beef or Chicago-style hot dogs you'll find, but I've never had a bad experience there. Very fast and good quality.

In terms of fast food, I'm hard-pressed to find something as consistently good as they are.

Will be checking it out next time I'm out that way. People were camped out overnight to be the first in line. Folks never cease to amaze me.

Yeah, that made me much less excited about trying one.

Portillo's is great. Even their chopped salad, with their awesome house dressing, is outstanding.

I had a steak sandwich at Benjamin's Steakhouse a couple days ago. Their steak sauce is tomato based with a strong dash of horseradish. It was really good. Not available in stores, but they sell it at their restaurants.

Somewhat small statewide chain here has a Vidalia onion steak sauce that I absolutely love. I usually buy a bottle when I stop in. Put that shit on a baked potato, and you're livin right!

Ken's Vidalia onion salad dressing is pretty special.

Interesting. I'd never heard of it.
I haven't spent much time in Canada. A vacation in and around Toronto when I was a child and a Grateful Dead show in Hamilton when I was in college.
    Never been to Montreal.

I dig Montreal bagels but they are different for sure.

I don't know. I was hungover and didn't have my glasses. Could've been a bunt cake.
