Good thing you signed a long-term deal in this crappy economy.

Very happy I did, given November's results and recent layoffs at my shop this month.

I love the conservative re-writing of history, especially when it comes to how much they loved "Shrill-ary".

So because Obama got elected in November your mid-market television station had layoffs in January? Do you really see it that way?

I don't see why not. Several companies vowed there would be a workforce correction if he were reelected.

You mean the ones that were trying to scare their employees into voting against their economic interests?

Glad to see she's suffering no ill effects from her "concussion"...

Of course not. But it didn't help.

I am in a region with great unemployment numbers and people save their money. Great for the individual but not for local businesses. Those businesses pay the bills for us, 30 seconds at a time.

Our sales reps are getting a lot of "sorry, we are going to hold off" until their sales go back up. Just as many said they would through the campaign. If they THINK they will get hit with higher taxes, they look to cut expenses. Advertising usually goes first.

The battle for all of us is being fought now. Most of us love to write and report. Ten years from now, where will the best place be for all of us?

After all the hue and cry about Benghazi before the election, there sure hasn't been much attention paid to the Congressional hearings about it. I guess no longer being a club to use against Obama has lessened the importance of it.

Go post about Sandy Hook trutherism again. Or the huge kick of a .223 round.

    Neither do you.

Now do you want to go all conspiracy theory on Benghazi like you did Sandy Hook or avoid the topic completely?
