What are the chances they actually do it, though? Of course, it is a sham, but that doesn't always mean it would be declared one by law.

Why I hate people, Chapter 1,876,239,192:

Facebook contact posted a photo of a Buffalo Wild Wings door that had a sign saying Guns were not allowed in the establishment. Started a discussion that was basically a bunch of dudes saying they'll go elsewhere "if my rights aren't respected." I asked why they need to bring guns there, and they said they need to protect themselves in case the place gets robbed.

I mean, obviously social media is to blame for this foolishness, but whatever . . .

    Mount your ostriches.

I would take the elephant over the donkey in that particular scenario.

Find me a Joust machine from 1984 and I'll kick all your asses.

"Monkeyhouse" works fine as a coinage here. Like "roughhouse," it's both a noun and a verb. Just as "joust" is both a noun and a verb.

And "monkeyhouse" - both noun and verb - is perfectly descriptive of the process on this thread in which certain posters fling their, um, apolitical non sequiturs at one another.

I don't know. I have experience riding donkeys and horses but not an elephant. Of course you might have meant that post as a political metaphor.
