That's really interesting, Tony. I wonder if anything happened the next year to alter the economic landscape.

Yup. Pelosi was given control of the purse strings.

And you spend 50 percent of your condescension on old people, 45 percent on the poor and 5 percent on the South Florida football team.

I honestly am at a complete loss in understanding what your gripe with me is here.

In SEQUESTER news: A hugely popular airshow at a local base is not going to happen this year because of the sequester as the Air Force has cancelled all Thunderbird shows. Don't have the money in the budget.

Tens of thousands people come to the show. Big driver for the local economy. Point of pride for the community. All gone and it may not come back as, if my understanding is correct, the military's ability to plan has been compromised because they don't know if they'll have the funds in 2014, 2015 or beyond. So the money that would have went to things like the Thunderbirds will be saved for things like training, or new equipment.

Your town got a Fleet Week? That might be off as well. I'm still doing some reading on it.

Woodward should have just let his column speak for itself but the way he has been eviscerated pretty much insures that no one else will question Obama for the rest of his term.

If Woodward can't make something stick even with the facts on his side, a lesser journalist is not even going to bother.

Chicago politics at it's finest. You just have to tip your cap.

Except the facts weren't on his side. He made a fool of himself.

Yep. Thug politics as its finest. But that's what you get when you elect a rabble-rouser to the highest office in the land.

Yeah, if only our constitutional system allowed for the petitioning of government for redress of grievances.
