While in the desert the other day I played "foot-golf" with friends.

It's golf except you kick a soccer ball from tee to hole (much bigger hole).

The foot-golf hole is relatively close to the golf green. You keep score just like in golf.

First time I'd heard of it but it was enjoyable despite it being 100 degrees at 10 a.m., and rising.

Here, the goddie kicked it in from about 25 yards. She's 12 and was giddy.

Apparently there is a foot-golf league in the desert with a lot of teams and they play at 3 courses.

Have you played this, or any other new games that weren't around in the '70s, '80s, or '90s?
