    I strongly suggest updating your password--even if you just change one character it will make your password 10x-100x more secure.

    Xenforo uses a different, far more secure password hashing scheme than SMF to store your password in the database (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1602776/what-is-password-hashing). However, because of the way hashing works, SJ doesn't know your password at all, so the migration script can't update it to the new hashing scheme.

    You have to manually change your password. Once you do so, it is immediately stored using the Xenforo method--comparing the same password stored in a SMF hash versus a Xenforo hash, the Xenforo hash will be 10x-100x more difficult to crack.
