Littlefinger is not on Arya's list ... yet.

And the food was wiped out yes, but right before the Dragon attack, Old Man Tarly told Jaime that all the gold was "inside the walls" at Kings Landing, or something like that.

Yeah, and that wasn't the whole Lannister army, just the rear guard of the wagon train. I would assume most of the army was with the gold.

Going to add another reason why this show is so well done. The character of DickOn. In most shows, he would be lined up as dead meat from word one and have been fried. Yet, it looks like he got out alive.

Wondering how burning all the food from kings Landing to the reach plays out...who does the small folk side with? The people who stole it or the people who burned it?

With regard to the farmers, the men in Lannister livery took the food they needed to get their families through the long night at sword's point. That's what will be remembered.

The populace of King's Landing might disagree with that, but they'll still be looking to the Queen to provide for them when their bellies are empty. She'll bear the brunt of their anger.

The people on Arya's list who remain alive are Cersei, The Mountain, Melisandre, Ilyn Payne, Beric Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr (of the Brotherhood Without Banners). There is also The Hound, who Arya left for dead, although she might be ambivalent about killing him. Or not.

Sansa is quite capable of ordering the death of Littlefinger. She knows as well or better than anyone what he is capable of. Arya would kill him in a heartbeat if she had a reason. I continue to believe that his producing that dagger will get him killed, but it might be something else that he was behind becoming known instead.. It will be interesting to watch his arc and see what they do with it.

My guess is Littlefinger tries to take out Bran, who knows too much for Littlefinger's comfort now. And Arya stops him and kills him with the dagger.

Also, pretty much everyone who is getting armed up with something made from Valyrian steel has to kill a White Walker, right?

    Very nice.

"I think we’re seeing the exact moment that Sansa realizes who Arya has become — and that the giddy tomboy she grew up with is gone forever. When Sansa first learns of Arya’s kill list, a smile plays on her lips. Sansa seems to assume it’s just the folly of her younger sister. When Arya says most of the people on her list are dead already, Sansa seems to take it as silliness. I don’t think she believes for one second that Arya is capable of murder, much less working her way through a deathlist. When she sees the Brienne fight, however, that falls away. She understands exactly who Arya is, and while two family members may have come home, Sansa has never felt more alone."

Game of Thrones, The Spoils of War is the dragon payoff we’ve been waiting for

So for the past couple of weeks, I've been wondering who the next major character to be killed off will be. The show lived off its reputation of "no character is safe" for so long, but that seems to have faded as most major characters seem to have a bit of plot armor around them at the moment. My initial thought was Littlefinger, now that the Stark band is back together. But last night, during the battle, I thought Jamie was going to the next big death. I think we can all agree he will make it out of that lake. That would have been a huge.

So now I'm back to thinking Littlefinger is the next to go. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see Theon bravely sacrifice his life for Jon for redemption soon. That would close out his character arch nicely.

    Anyone else have any predictions?

Was just talking about this with my wife last night, that they've departed from killing off major characters.

My guess is there will be an episode with multiple big deaths to catch up.

There is a ton of talk about Jamie killing Cersei, but if she does, what is the plot line of season 8?

I don't think an epic battle against the White Walkers/Night King can carry a season.

I think the surprise death this season is Tyrion.
