Glee

Jane Lynch, Stephen Tobolowsky and the creator of Nip/Tuck. Great pilot. Dark and funny with a beat you can dance to. Reminds me more than a little bit of the first "Bring It On."

 

Ok, so when IMDB says comedy/musical, does that mean 'Singin' In The Rain'?

If there is substantial musical involvement, I'm completely in.

 

I am not afraid to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot.

 

From what I've heard, every episode will feature at least two musical numbers. One of the first shows in a long time that got me from the first episode. And it's a lot funnier than Singin in the Rain. Teacher plants pot in a student's locker to get him in the glee club, very inappropriate song choices. And Jane Lynch "You think this is hard?, I'm living with hepatitis."

 

Vastly exceeded my expectations. I just wish it was a summer show. I'm not sure if I can fit it into my fall lineup.

 

Ok, inappropriate is good but

'Ok, you're a cab'

or,

'Lina. She can't act, she can't sing, she can't dance. A triple threat.'

is Gold.

Pure Gold.

I was not at all disappointed. After being afraid that it wouldn't live up to the hype, I'm glad to say that I was jumping a little for joy inside.

I can't wait to see what character Kristen Chenoweth is going to be in it.
