I didn't say all mechanics were evil, just most.
I've got a good, honest mechanic. When you find one, treasure him like your first love.

I'm surprised you didn't need a new johnson rod as well. :p

Last update (hopefully): It was $237.64. The part, a fucking switch, was $117.26. Boo.

That's probably cheaper than a motor. At least your window will go up tonight. I take it no one broke in overnight?

Yeah, is the Best of Barry Manilow CD still in the glove box?

Treasuring your mechanic like your first love...damn how true. I had the greatest small-town mechanic a few years back...low labor costs (relatively speaking), honest to a fault (he was tough for recommendations because every model had something wrong with it) and he was an old New Yorker with lots of really good baseball stories.

I'd almost consider having my car towed 1000 miles to him now when something goes wrong.

    No, Ace it's not.

I would never leave it in the car. Barry might get hot or cold. And it's Ultimate Manilow, thank you very much.

Are you saying you always keep Manilow on you?

Sounds more like the motor than a switch, doesn't it?

Well it works now and it wasn't the motor. So, I don't know Dan. But the guy who fixed it fixed a switch and now it works.
