I nominate Jim Duncan, superintendent director of schools for Wilson County in Tennessee.

See, one of the teachers at Wilson Central High School is also an Army reservist. Wait ... let's make that "one of the ex-teachers at Wilson Central High School." After being deployed to Afghanistan twice with his reserve unit, he came home to find ... that his teaching contract wasn't renewed.

And according to Duncan, the teacher's deployments were a concern and the guy should have been in the classroom rather than in the field: "Could he have said something to his superiors? 'Look, I really need to get back there. If everything is equal, I need to get back there (to Wilson Central High School) January 3rd because that's when my class starts and I need to be with those kids for the full semester.'"

    Isn't that illegal?

The school should fucking be ashamed of itself and that retard of a director sentenced to being bound, covered with honey and stuck on top of a fire ant hill.

    Gosh, that's almost Starmanlike.

First of all, it's RELEASE the hounds, not UNLEASH the hounds. Geez, 2mCM, you are a dumbass. :D

Secondly, I think SC did channel Starman there.

$100 says the dickhead school administrator changes his tune after he gets ripped a new asshole by every talk radio host in America, big time lawyers line up four deep to help with Capt. Parker's case and the local congressman gets involved.

Like sportschick said, I'm pretty sure that it's illegal.

  6. I'm pretty sure this is probably happening to a lot of Guard folks in jobs all over the country. But, because this is a public school, we hear more about it, and the guy probably has more of a chance to get his job back.

It should never get to that point to begin with.
Yeah, ok, school administrator, you don't like the war, we get it.
No reason to be a douchenozzle.

He's a school administrator. What more reason does he need to be a douchenozzle?

Wow. That's some textbook idiocy, right there folks.

Are you sure this teacher wasn't gay or didn't have nude photos of himself posted somewhere?

So as it was requested, so let it be done -- Ten-Hut Jim Duncan! You're Freelance Hack's Idiot of the Week!

Um, this is clearly against the law, and this guy should get his job back yesterday.

That said, mark, where the fuck do you extrapolate that this administrator dislikes the war?

Because it isn't, y'know, in the story.
