How many jobs have you had since you started posting here?

Moddy's recent transaction got me to thinking how many jobs he's had since I've been here. I think he's had about four since I signed on, which was in 2005. Not that I stalk him or anything :)

For me, the count is five.

I came on here during the Mitch Albom debacle. I had been working in news/sports and had been since 1997, same job.
    2007-09: 2-year non-journalism job
10-11: job search, nothing full time or more than three months
    11-12: one-year journalism job
    12-13: 15-month non-journalism job
13- current: job from which I intend to retire, non-journalism (will switch locations every two years, but same company, same job title)

How many have you had since blessing this place with your presence?

I'm on my fourth position, including an invaluable one away from the newsroom.

My "presence"? I'm sure some detractors might disagree.

Registered 7/31/04. Since then, I've had seven jobs (maybe six, since one was a return to a previous employer but in a different capacity), all journalism. Lots of moving around, but in my defense it's always been to bigger papers and/or jobs with more responsibilities.

    I think I go back to 2002.
    I've had two jobs:
    My last newspaper job
    My current PR/marketing job

Maybe this makes me an idiot, but what is 'CoMo'?

Under this name, just one but I was here years ago while working at another job. Joined then to ask a question about a job posting (through DM) and I think I posted once - in said job posting under that name.

I lurked for a long time before signing back up to respond in a thread. I didn't really start posting "regularly" (if you can call it that) until relatively recently.

Seven since 2004, though two were part-time that I worked simultaneously while searching for a full-time gig after getting laid off.

I got comfortable in one job for eight years, then began moving up to bigger and better opportunities with the aforementioned part-time gigs in between.

Buck, how did you land the PR/marketing job? I'm trying to make that same transition.

Lucky enough to still be in the same one I had when I started here in 2008.
