How many new posts?

Right now, mine is 5,304, didn't look here too much the last week. Usually it's about 2,500-3,000. Anyone ever read, or at least click on all posts, and get it down to 0? Was wondering what the new posts number is for everyone.

I can't stand that little red box.

 

I click on the new posts option and read wjat I'm interested in. Then I mark all read. So I rarely get above 200 and almost always finish the day/night at 0.

I'm at 61, but it was at 2,300 when I gave up and hit the button sometime last night.

 

It's like Pavlov's dog. Red box. Click on New Posts.

 

It never occurred to me that people might open and read every post. I read maybe 2 new ones a day and anything I find interesting (llike the restaurant one), I check back here and there. I don't think I open more than four a day, period.

Normally, I open the site, click the new post thing and scan the titles but don't open any threads. I think I just don't like to fall behind.
