How old is too old for canned goods?

    Me too! And I will go on record as saying that Spaghetti-O's with meatballs rock! Don't eat them much anymore, but they were my go-to. Along with Beefaroni with a little hot sauce. Bought one of the little microwaveable tins of Beefaroni late one night not long ago (the selection at the 24-hour Walgreen's was quite limited). I then began to realize why they call it Barfaroni. Felt like shit for a day and a half.

    I do not care what the "best before date stamp" may say, here is one indicator that you should not open the can let alone eat anything inside it:


    If the can is bulging - - looks as if there is gas pressure inside it sufficient to make the lid stand up as opposed to lying flat inside the rim of the can - - there are almost assuredly some VERY dangerous organisms alive and flourishing inside that can.
