How to pronounce "vs."

    Maybe verse is the singular version of versus and we just missed it in grammar school.

    I've learned to different stylebooks so far. ALWD and Bluebook (they address both citation and style). What sucks though, is that every judge wants submissions the way he wants it. The Northern District of Georgia requires a minimum of 13 point font if you use Times New Roman. I learned that the hard way.

    I'm thinking of somebody slapping yoiu down for using 12-point Times New Roman, and it troubles me.

    This is 12-point Times.

    In the South it is pronounced vursus.

    I have heard "verse" from adults and kids, and wanted to slap the moronity out of them for it. It is versus.

    Just saw a promo for some upcoming games on CBS College Sports. They pronounced it 'verse.' Twice.
