Idaho Senator arrested in men's room

Add McCain to the list of GOP notables calling for his resignation.

Sounds like the Republicans feel like they keep his seat if he resigns but might be in for a fight if he stays. They'll eat their own here without the other side having to say a thing.

That won't stop people on here from trying to make the whole thing a "liberal media conspiracy," though.

 

Well, they keep this seat regardless ... assuming he does not run again, which was running 60-40 against before this all came down. I suppose they could have some fear as Larry LaRocco is as popular as Democrats get in Idaho. Jim Risch or Mike Simpson will be the next guy, and I just can't see LaRocco upending either ... he's kind of like the Utah Jazz w/Karl Malone. A contender, but doomed to second place.

I suppose the biggest fear is that they let Craig serve out his term and he actually decides to run again ... at which point an unprecedented amount of GOP money would fall in behind his primary opponent.

Is tapping your foot really code for public sex?

Yes. The signal has been around for decades in the United States and Europe. Generally, one person initiates contact by tapping his foot in a way that's visible beneath the stall divider. If the second person responds with a similar tap, the initiator moves his foot closer to the other person's stall. If the other person makes a similar move, the first will inch closer yet again. The pair usually goes through the whole process a few times, just to confirm that the signals aren't an accident.

Next, one of the men will slide his hand under the divider. This usually means he's inviting the other person to present himself, as if to say, "Show me what you got." The partner can respond by kneeling on the floor and presenting his penis or rear end underneath the divider. Or he can swipe his own hand under the divider, as if to say, "You go first." Some married men make a point of displaying their wedding band (like Sen. Craig allegedly did) to make themselves more alluring.

 

We've only begun to make foot-tapping jokes around the office. I think we'll get a lot of mileage out of this one.

On a more serious note, showing the wedding band is supposed to be hot? That's fucking sad.

Do you think that this kind of thing would happen less if homosexuality was more accepted in the country, or is it more of a psychological thrill of the random hook up?

 

All I can say is that any dude who gets his action by way of a men's room is out of his mind. It's pretty easy for a gay man to find another gay man for sex. If I were gay, I'd probably be getting my dick sucked at this very moment instead of posting on a fucking internet message board.

 

Makes you wonder why so many guys insist on being straight....

I'm so going to regret asking this ... but aren't the stall dividers rather low? In the women's room, we have to strain to see another woman's shoes. It would require extraordinary yoga movements to get body parts together under the dividers.
And in an airport bathroom? There are always lines.
