on wfan's imus-led marathon for cancer kids and sids, a 14-year-old boy from brazil just said he learned english in seven months. russo had o ask if his native tongue was spanish or portuguese. the kid told him portuuese.

"wooow!," dawg said. "are portuguese and english similar?"

the kid almost fell off his chair. yikes!!

p.s. -- i understand why some folks are upset over this. i understand how it must feel to be fired unjustly. imus must be stunned to be abandoned by the folks he's made so much money for over the years. they are to blame, too. on the end, they gave him enough rope to hang himself.
