Jonathan Martin and the Miami Dolphins

The most telling thing about all of this is this - overwhelmingly the Dolphins players, if given the choice, would take Incognito back over Martin in a heartbeat.

    End of this discussion.

Martin should stick to the library.

Yeah, like what nerds do! What a nerdy nerd! The library! Good one!

At the outset of the story, several young players said they also were being forced to hand over large amounts of cash so their teammates could live the high life. Now we aren't hearing much of that. My strong suspicion is that the veterans are forcefully silencing them.

And the veterans in all likelihood are choosing Incognito not just because they like him more but because they were partners in the extortion and intimidation and don't want to get found out.

Martin is a guy who has been sheltered his whole life.
    I don't see how that's in question.

What about all of the players who aren't on the Dolphins who have said the same thing? Are they part of extortion too?

I mean, I know Larry Fitzgerald is a punk and a thug and a me-first guy, so when he is on the radio saying "I'd much rather have Incognito as a teammate than Martin" it probably isn't worthy of listening too....

This really isn't a dispute between Martin vs. incognito, so I don't see the point in framing it that way. It's a Martin vs. Dolphins. The team is responsible for the workplace conditions that enable veterans like Incognito to intimidate younger or marginal players.

Yeah. The relevant question is not, "Do the Dolphins support Richie Incognito?" It is, "Given that the Dolphins support Richie Incognito, should they?"

Football is a game of intimidation. I have no doubt that DE's had a lot worse things to
say to Martin than what Incognito said. Martin was use to the Pac 12 where everyone
    spoke The King's English. :)

Those Virginia State players who assaulted the opposing QB in the men's room today have no doubt been reading these articles and conversations where the MSSM seems to be in Incognito's corner, and probably reasoned they could get away with such behavior.

One of my friends is using this case to plug is party in downtown Providence.

"Jonathan Martin says he wants to keep playing football. Sorry pussy, they don't have a professional flag football league. Do they still have the "Lingerie Bowl" during the Super Bowl? Maybe he could try out for that.

Indications are that Incognito and another player mocked a team employee's ethnicity and repeatedly told the guy they were banging his wife.
