    Has it been mentioned here that longtime MLB staffers Katy Feeney and Phyllis Merhige are both retiring?

    Appreciate the post, Smasher, and I wish both of them well in retirement. I'm sure there will be MLB regulars who have more to say about this, but I wanted to note I had nothing but positive experiences with both of them. I'm long gone from sports, and was only occasionally involved in the big MLB events when a local team was involved. But I always appreciated that they treated me just like the people they dealt with all the time. Not everyone did.

    Pros, both of them. I wasn't around MLB much this year. Are there any high-ranking females who might move up in their footsteps?
