    Did not see that one coming. I thought "Father Figure" and "Freedom" were both superb songs.

    His music was one of those I'd listen to when no one was around.

    To steal a line from a KNBR host, 2016 name the time and place, you and I are going to throw hands.

    Never really cared for those, maybe because my local radio stations play them a half dozen times a day.

    Liked "Kissing a Fool" a lot, though. And "Last Christmas" as well.

    Wow, only 53. "Died peacefully at his home." Certainly leads one to believe there was an undisclosed illness. Didn't Bowie keep it secret that was very ill, too?

    Read he had pneumonia but that usually is the result of something else.

    He cancelled some shows and made a public appearance where he didn't look good. There had to be something more. Drugs?

    George Michael of Sports Machine fame died on Christmas Eve in 2009. Michael Cera should be careful around the holidays from here on out.
