Saw it last night. 10:15 show, three people in the theatre. All men flying solo.

I’m now officially at the age where I can say “this is the type of movie they used to make”. The young actor making his debut was very good.

Went to Killers/Moon today. Myself and three others. This is my favorite way to see films now. Almost private showings.

I think it's a masterpiece. Admittedly, I am a Scorsese hack (Goodfellas is my all-time favorite movie).

I loved it and immediately can't wait to see it again to allow performances to wash over me.

Lily Gladstone is BEYOND great in it. There were moments you couldn't take your eyes off of her, no matter that Leo was in the scene with her. Truly human and mesmerizing. I hung on her every word and facial expression.

I didn't have a great screen (it was large, but had a mark in it, and the tint of blue was a little strong) but I had great sound. The ongoing native drumming underscoring tension was awesome. And the final scene on a big, big screen was very cool.

Very glad I saw it in a theater.

I think my family have all been in the stage of thinking it could be really good, but waiting for someone else to go and report back. Maybe my wife and I will have to take the plunge.

Little long but pretty good. Liked Del Toro’s partner.

I found “BlackBerry” to be entertaining and well done. As with anything movie like this, hard to know how close it is to the truth and how many liberties are taken.

A bunch of stuff really resonated with me. I was a BlackBerry user for a few years and really enjoyed it. Hard to believe how quickly it got buried in the market.

Of course, it covers the beginning of the iPhone.

Saltburn. Definitely one to see in a theater with a crowd. Lot of gasping, groaning, laughing, squirming. Basically Talented Mr. Ripley for the 21st century. Barry Keoghan weirdly disturbing as always.

Killers of the Flower Moon which I found disappointing. Great cast, great acting by Gladstone and Plemons, but thought it was plodding and predictable.

Godzilla Minus One, a bit long but the action scenes are really good.

I just saw this today - This movie fuckin' rips! Probably the best action movie I've seen in a theater since Kill Bill. (Okay, I don't see a ton of pure action movies in the theater that often, but still.) Just a very satisfying experience from start to finish. It requires no previous Godzilla experience, so as long as someone doesn't mind subtitles, absolutely worth checking out.

National Champions. One of the more wide-ranging casts (J.K. Simmons, Timothy Olyphant, Lil Rel Howery, Tim Blake Nelson, Kristen Chenoweth, Burn Notice dude, Crazy Eyes from OITNB--who turns in the best performance) you'll see. Stagy and talky (it is based on a play) but okay overall.

Ambulance. Took me two days to get through it on the Starz app. I took breaks to clean my apartment, make food, scroll my phone. So yeah … it sucked.
