He does not give me the impression of being spoiled. I just get he impression that he has never spent more than two hours away from his parents other than at school.

It could be true. Of course, we could have said the same for Tiger Woods 15 years ago. There's nothing inherently wrong with preparing your child for greatness, but there's a necessary balance. Kids have to be kids. An hour a day music lesson might be a bit much. But an hour every other day is probably okay. A performance once every few weeks is probably okay. But two performances a week is probably too much.

I_S, I have worked with hundreds and possibly over a thousand kids so far in my careers, and there is something about Arch that just does not seem right.

I like the kid. I'm not saying he is a bad kid, but there is something there. I just don't know what.

Let's put it this way, if I worked with him, I would have my eye on him and his situation a little more than other kids.

Asia'h is the same age, for example, but no red flags for her and 95 percent of the other kids their age.

But she's listed as "could still make splashes." If by splashes, you mean "boys horny" then yes.

Otherwise? I can't think of a single performance she's done that I remember in a GOOD way.

She'll get the same vote as "Legs" did in last year's show.

Look, I know the lives of these people have changed for the better, but what's the point in making them sing just seconds after being told they are in the bottom 3? Even after they are told they're leaving?

If it were up to me, they'd bring out the LEADING vote-getters out there to sing.

That would:
1. Give people what the want to see.
2. Put bullseyes on the front-runnners.

So all of the teenyboppers who voted for them can have one last cry.

Thank you Timmy T. :D

The voting should be on the total body of work. Based on that, Archuleta merits being nowhere near the bottom three....yet.
Bullshirt. If someone comes out, doesn't know the forking words, and stumbles through it, you have to take that into greater account.
You have to be prepared every time. It's a competition.
If Duke opens the NCAA tourney against Bumblefork Tech or Ball State and falls flat on its ass and loses, you think they get a do-over? Or they should move on because they're ranked in the top five? No. They lose. They're out. It's a competition.

IJAG is right. Hernandez shouldn't have gotten tossed. He was good enough in previous weeks, better than Amanda, Chickeze, Syesha, Ramielle, KLC and perhaps Brooke and the Aussie, to merit sticking around. The guy had a better shot of being in the top 5 than any of the others in the bottom three. Sure wish the judges had a "save" and the re-dos on judgement night actually meant something.
Liked seeing Kat McPhee, she still looked great, she still has holes in her vocal range.

It's more like a combination of a knockout and an NCAA poll -- people do build up goodwill. And remember, you aren't voting who to knock off, you are voting who to keep on. David A. could have been kicked off it every viewer had one vote as to who to kick off.

Maybe one of us should try and listening to the show and not watching the show? Just keep the speakers on, but turn off the video screen.

I wonder what type of change that would make in our opinions?
