This one is a doozy. Bible verses posted in hallways and on the electronic scroll outside the school. Extra credit for religious affirmations in homework. Bibles distributed by teachers. And on and on.

Anyone who wants to get C's and D's is free not to participate. Sounds kosher to me.

Yeah, but someone wished me Happy Holidays last month, so your point is invalid.

She invited the Buddhists to either convert or go to schools "with more Asians."

    I don't see the problem.

No, in this case the Asians go to the school where they teach that evolution thing that "stupid people made up because they don’t want to believe in God."

Always blew me away me away when I moved to Pennsyltucky and they would open school board and borough council meetings with a prayer. Apparently that whole "separation of church and state" thingy ain't made it up I-70, I-81 and I-83 yet.

When I lived down south, a friend asked me to come in for "career day" and the class would say the Lord's prayer right after the Pledge of Allegiance.

About a year later, I was dating a school teacher and I asked her if they did that at her school and she said, "Oh yeah, every day..."

Apparently, their way around it was that kids "don't have to participate" but the teacher led the prayer.
