    One minute until the first parade of the day in Mobile, a little bit longer until it reaches me here at the corner of Dauphin and Conception. Wondering if I have time to find the place selling Bloody Mary go cups with a chicken wing on top.

    Good to be back after a dozen years away, even if it is a last-second day trip.
