Memorable songs running over the final credits

Watched "The Lion King" with family the other night. And loved it when Elton starts singing his huge ballad as the credit rolls after a feel-great family classic. Remember being in a theater as a kid when Peter Cetera belted "Glory of Love" over the credits of "Karate Kid 2." I am a sucker for it - the hit song you know is coming as soon as the film ends. You might even get a snippet of it during the course of the movie, sometimes by a character. ("Let It Go" is another.)

    What others?

It starts a couple minutes before the end of the movie and extends into the credits -- Alright by Pilot Speed in Death Sentence is haunting. The best thing about a movie that tries so hard to be a statement.

I like when comedies end with a musical number with the cast during the credits. "Build Me Up, Buttercup" at the end of There's Something About Mary comes to mind first.

Rock Around the Clock -- which was also used in the opening credits -- from 1955's Blackboard Jungle is the most significant and historic use of a song in this manner.
