@CD Boogie mentioning he was at the “Tuck Rule” game made me think it would make a fun thread.

For me, it’s the Bartman Game, Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS.

Also saw American Pharoah win the Derby, but that’s obviously not the Belmont. It was also through a mint julep- and Old Fashioned-induced haze.

Also saw J.R. Hildebrand hit the wall on the final lap at Indy, so I was present for probably two of the 5-10 most infamous choke jobs in sports history.

The Wardrobe Malfunction Super Bowl in Houston is mine. Never saw the infamous incident. Was writing halftime notes. Had no idea until 30 minutes after the game was over.

Probably Appalachian St.-Michigan. Although on the infamous side I was there when Bill Gramatica hurt himself celebrating against the Giants.

Dad was at Reggie's 3HR World Series game and also Red Sox-Mets Game 6.

Grandfather and great uncle were at Don Larsen's perfect game.

It’s nothing historically, but I went to an Orioles-Mariners game in 1996 that SI named its “game of the first half” or some shit.

O's, Hoiles out-slam Seattle, 14-13 2-out shot in 9th answers Mariners' grand rally in 8th

I’ve also mentioned here before that I sat on the first-base line at Comiskey the night after the William Ligue game. And I went to the ACC tournament where Randolph Childress went nuts, and the one where Rick Barnes tried to fight Dean Smith.

Does the only playoff game in the history of the expansion Cleveland Browns count?

I was at Charlie Weiss's last game with Notre Dame when Toby Gerhardt tore the Irish apart by himself.

I was also on the course following the playoff between Brittany Lang and Anna Nordqvist when Fox caught that Nordqvist's club hit three grains of sand and called it in for a two stroke penalty. It was mass confusion.

I was covering the Masters when Greg Norman choked again by running a zone against Larry Mize on No. 11 in the playoff.

Game 5 of the 1991 NBA Finals. Jordan's first title.
