Volunteer military service or or not, once you take the oath, you're in. It's not 4H or a fraternity. You just can't quit, without a pretty compelling reason. Not wanting to get a shot isn't one of them.

We've somehow recorded -128 COVID cases in Richmond over the last seven days, which I guess means that things that were originally thought to be COVID weren't? Hell if I know.

Don't wear masks and don't get vaccinated. I don't care anymore (never really did).

It was obvious from the beginning that responsible people were going to do responsible things, and the rest weren't.

And if you think that's weird, consider the several jurisdictions in which the cumulative total of administered tests decreased from one day to the next at various points in the Trumpandemic era. That's one I don't get. It's why I've given up on trying to figure out test positivity rate over time at a county level.

This trash still wears a mask, avoids crowds, and was fully vaccinated as of Monday before last. I thought it was funny. Pro tip: Don't hang out anywhere near places where caregivers who work with dire Dxs and life situations gather. The 80% dark humor would rustle your jimmies and frankly, most of us find delicate types annoying enough without having to dole out tissues and headpats to nonpatients. #PedsPsychIsNotForTheFaintOfHeart

I suspect it's because some tests are discarded if they're not complete within a specified window.

I am supposed to start two arts programs in our library system in August. Could these be derailed by another wave of Covid? I've also been accosted by people not wearing masks. WHO AM I HURTING BY PROTECTING YOU FROM ME, YOU TEENY DICKED BRAINSTEMS? If the library cancels this, I will be very unhappy.

By that, do you mean tests that are taken by the patient but not processed by the lab/reported to the authorities in an acceptable time frame?

Dark humor doesn't rustle my jimmies. Unintelligent, disgusting potty humor does. And you can bet I've told my RN mother as much when she's tried it around me.
