At this point, I don’t care. Let them all die. Responsible people have done what responsible people should do.

The only people I except from this are children who have no choice.

One of my loved one's caregivers is black and vaccine-hesitant.
I didn't need to ask her why she won't get it when we were chatting yesterday.
She's been lied to by governments her entire life. No reason to believe this one, either.

There are some adults who suffer from certain clinical conditions who cannot be vaccinated as a result.

The larger point stands, but there are legitimate exceptions who aren't children.

The problem with the “Remember Tuskegee” people is white people are getting the vaccine, too.

Is there a theory that they’re secretly making the vaccine to harm black people and not white people like a modern day smallpox blanket?

A personal motivation ought to exist for doing it. It could be as simple as wishing to stay alive for one's children.

Add the anti-COVID vaxxer to the joke about the atheist, vegan and crossfitter walking into a bar ... and emptying it with their justifications for why they do what they do

It doesn’t hurt, though. The money was going to be used for advertising if it wasn’t used for the lottery. And I can guarantee a lottery is more of an incentive than those mind-numbing PSA’s.

Saw a report in Oregon that researchers are urging the governor to not talk up the vaccine anymore because she isn't trusted by the unvaxxed population. At some point political leaders just need to follow another great leader and say if if people don't want the vax fine.

If more than half of the population wants to test Darwin's theory, I'm not going to stand in their way. It's ridiculous -- and maybe if children start dying, public opinion will change -- but for now, the mask stays on and we stay home. The dumbness is strong and there's no logical reason for it, other than "nobody is going to tell me what to do."

Except we follow rules every single day of our lives without question. Why literally die on this particular hill?
