They're trying to unseat the Board of Education in a nearby county as well. The county in question has had to close two elementary schools since the year began because of rampant Covid cases. And two teachers have died. But parents are upset the board is trying to contain/fight/stop Covid. I hate these people.

Reading that keeps reminding me of the scene in Saving Private Ryan when they’re trying to get Ryan to come with them and Ryan refuses to leave his post. Then Reiben says “Hey Asshole, two of our guys died trying to find you.”

Seems like the school board needs to stop being polite and start saying “Hey Asshole, two of our teachers died because you told your kid they didn’t have to wear a mask.”

If I was one of those school board members, I'd have been very happy to have a mask on because there is no way I would have been able to keep a straight face while listening to those lunatics.
