I'm not really disputing ... well, OK, I am ... and I certainly don't want to come across as one of these "it's just the flu" people, but even the CDC admits that for a substantial proportion of its official death count Covid-19 was merely "a contributing cause of death." I don't doubt that some Covid-19 deaths aren't accounted for properly, but I also don't doubt that some Covid-19 deaths categorized as such weren't really caused by Covid-19. So I doubt very seriously that it's "known" that the official deaths tally is biased downward.

Cool. I say let's just f*** it and start executing people when they turn, um, 70? Especially if they have comorbidities. They're clearly just wasting oxygen.

What's the bigger sin here? The mask hypocrisy, or the generic Rams jersey with "Los Angeles" on the back and "28" to promote the Olympics that are still six years away?

    Interesting case.

    Are they indoors? Or outdoors?

Outside of instances where, say, a COVID-positive person gets hit by a bus, I’d argue that “caused” vs. “contributed to” is mostly a distinction without a difference in this case.

Not fair enough, he should have worn the mask and then WHEN THE SHOT WAS AVAILABLE he could have had his pic taken.
But lets not ever forget that the guy is a malignant narcissist, and go from there. He wouldn't do anything for the good of anyone else and at the time he thought handling it the way he did was the best for him. the end.
(not aimed at you personally but no, not fair enough)

Let's not forget that in addition to generalized fucking up the federal response due to his own ignorance and stupidity, Fatfuck also withheld, diverted and obstructed resources, supplies and government support away from states and localities whose voters and political leaders he judged to be insufficiently fixated on slurping his nutsack. This resulted in an indeterminate number of additional avoidable deaths, probably well into the six figure area, well qualifying him for trial on charges of mass genocide.

We were discussing what he could have done re: COVID to win re-election, NOT what he could have done "to be a better president."

Wearing a mask would not have won him re-election, and getting his pic taken wouldn't have won-him re-election, because the election was held 5+ weeks before the first vaccinations were given.

That's why Baron said "fair enough."
