    Death toll to 1,504 (364 since yesterday). No changes to the list. (the New Mexico case is not listed, so they stay for now)

    I'm amazed how many businesses are telling employees to hold off cashing last paychecks before they laid people off. We talk a lot about workers living paycheck to paycheck - I'm somewhat stunned businesses (solid businesses by appearances) are that close to the line that they issue paychecks depending on additional daily funds coming in to cover them. Don't most businesses have decent credit lines?

    Many businesses have credit lines with suppliers, but not a bank. And the margins are so thin, once the cash stops flowing in they can’t flow it out.

    This has hit some major retailers really hard. To the point we are expecting some bankruptcies.

    Maine's percentage is because its young people leave as soon as they can.
