If you like Neon Bible download the Arcade Fire concert on NPR's website.
It will rock your balls off.

That advance was some B.S. Here's the full retail album. Excellent hip-hop, I can't believe it wasn't the seventh album ever to receive a XXL perfect rating.

Cradle, that Troy Hudson album is complete garbage. I can't believe that you said it was ok. Just wow. Common is rather good though. I like the new album.

No, it's not too soon. It is one of my favourite cd's of all time and I got a big anchor/correspondent in the States hooked on the Arcade Fire.

  8. go pick up that Common album, even if you have already downloaded it.

"Keep The Car Running" is a fucking great song. I've listened to it probably 10 times this week.

I saw Snow Patrol on the Live Earth show and really liked the songs they did. I picked up their latest album, Eyes Open, and it's terrific. "Open Your Eyes", "YOu're All I Have" and especially "Chasing Cars" are dynamite songs.

Arcade Fire rules. I just listened to Keep the Car Running on my player. I own all Snow Patrol music and they are fantastic too. I am trying to get my hands on the duet Snow Patrol did with Sting. Another great disc to pick up, if you are into to Coldplay et al is Keane's Under the Iron Sea. The songs Atlantic, Try Again, Bad Dream (a song played on the final season of the OC) and Is It any Wonder are fantastic.

IMO, the best song on that cd is a bonus track, "Warmer Climate." Although, I'm pretty sure that's only on the UK version of the CD. My other favorite song by them is a remake they did of "Crazy in Love" originally by Jay-Z and Beyonce. It's both funny and really good.

A band to check out is the Novaks from Newfoundland. I saw them preform live at JunoFest in 2006 in Halifax and they rocked the Marquee Club. I know that they have put out their debut album here in the Atlantic Provinces but they were about to get a US distributor.
"I'll Give you a Ring" , "Goodbye Rock and Roll Band" and "Don't Worry Baby" are their finest songs. Guaranteed that you will stomp your feet to this great rock band. You have to check them out live too.
