I'm loving "Graduation." Only letdown on that CD for me is "Hot and Drunk Girls" because I simply don't like the rhyme style.

Oh, and hip-hop fans (especially fans of golden-era stuff), I recommend Blu & Exile's "Below the Heavens."

You can listen to the whole album at:

Fav songs: "Dancing in the Rain," "My World Is" and "Simply Amazing."

All I've listened to is 'My World Is,' but i love it. I'll check it out again when I'm capable of staying awake...

Anyone familiar with the dBs? I heard "Amplifier" a few weeks back and it blew me away.

Upon further review, "Graduation" is a solid CD. Minus a few like "Barry Bonds", it has a great feel and you really can just vibe to it. I must say "Drunk and Hot Girls" is an interesting rhyme scheme, but it's a good track to listen to before you go out on the town. "Good Life" and "Can't Tell Me Nothing" really go well back-to-back.

    A couple of things:

    1. If anyone wants to get into the groove before hitting Across the Universe, the movie, or if you are a Beatles fan, I would highly recommend getting the Beatles Love cd. A lot of the songs have been remastered and some nice mixes too. Great compilation of tunes that you can't help but sing along.

    2. A group you should check out is called hey rosetta! based out of Newfoundland. Their music is part rock, alternative and home-grown. Plan your Escape is the name of the EP that they have put out and a full length album is supposed to follow. I saw them live at the East Coast Music Awards VIP afterparty at the World Trade Centre in Halifax and they got everybody out of their seats, literally. They were fantastic. I highly recommend listening to their tracks.

  12. I also have a disc with every album Pearl Jam's ever released, too. Quality's just not as good.
