"Can't Live Without Your Love" and "Look Into My Eyes". I enjoy them and I don't skip them every time, but sometimes I just want to get to certain songs. Also, with "Look Into My Eyes" sometimes I just get impatient since I know it's back-to-back with the Overture.

 

I was a bit underwhelmed by the Chvrches record. The highs are very high. The lows are pretty low. Really just didn't like the back half of the album. I probably need to listen to it more though.

In the same vein as Chvrches, I really like a new band Haerts. Plus, they have one of the oddest song titles of the year: Hemiplegia.

On an older music note, I've been on a gigantic Built to Spill listening kick. Why did I wait so long to start listening to them...

 

Anybody listened to Katy Perry's new album yet?

Avril Lavigne's album leaked today. If it's anything like her latest singles, it'll be extraordinary.

 

The Wiggles' latest record is the shit.

 

Not sure how your post relates to mine, but c'est la vie.

 

I prefer the back half, but I really like the whole thing ... and Lauren Mayberry.

 

Avril's record will get maximum spin on Radio Disney.

Chvrches are playing my neck of the woods on a night that I work. I'm a little bummed.

But Lauren got the stateside progression totally backwards:

 

I remember reading that she decided to become a rock star because she found journalism too difficult to crack.
